Online Marketing Junior
Big Fish Internet are a leading internet design and development Company based north of Lancaster, on the fringes of Cumbria. We are now looking to recruit a Junior SEO to work alongside our SEO manager. The role will be to work with our current SEO clients to continually optimise web content to target specific key phrases and all other elements of online digital marketing.
Duties will include:
- Perform proactive targeted link-building activities
- On site Off Site content generation
- Refinement of site structure and best practice SEO methodology
- Management of Social Media channels Assist in all other areas of SEO activity as job experience develops
Direct experience may not be necessary as training will be provided for the right person, good English language literacy are essential and an active interest in SEO and the internet are key.

SEO Specialist (Position filled)
Due to continued growth, we are looking for dynamic, ambitious and experienced SEO Specialist with a demonstrable track record to lead our SEO department. This position is full time and based at our offices in Milnthorpe (14 miles North of Lancaster).
The Company
Big Fish Internet are a leading internet design and consultancy Company based in the village of Milnthorpe, Cumbria, established for over 12 years. With a team of twelve staff and an extensive client base the Company has a long established reputation for offering custom made high quality web sites and services. Our focus is on delivering quality products to meet the client's needs, along with exceptional levels of customer service and support.
The candidate
The candidate will be co-ordinating all Search Engine Optimisation activities carried out on behalf of our clients. Supported by a team of designers and developers, key tasks will include:
- Working within the team to build SEO as a service offered to all clients
- Managing the delivery of all SEO work
- Managing expectations (internally / clients in relation to work delivery)
- Developing relationships with clients
- Ensuring our approach to organic SEO (on page and off page) is market leading and ethical.
Core skills:
- Extensive understanding of organic SEO
- Basic Web development skills and understanding of HTML
- Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical clients
- Creativity in technical solutions
- Commercially aware
Qualification / Experience:
At least 2 years experience working agency or client side within the organic SEO arena. PPC experience not required.
